This is the Ombudsman's/PIC's officially sanctioned internal investigation that was completely discredited by Dirk on every point and was delayed five times until just before trial by Inspector Bell of Dee Why Police station. It has been used by all the other watchdogs as their escape clause
Inspector Bell is "mates" with the officers that Dirk accuses of corruption.
He is also the Inspector that Dirk had a private two-hour "frank discussion" with at Dee Why Police Station, who confirmed to Dirk that the officers concerned were not only incomptent, but corrupt; but that the case had already gone on too long for them to turn back. He was as corrupt as the "rest in the nest"
