This gourmet style fresh food supermarket was a pleasure to be a part of.
Icon Building Group was contracted to construct a 1000sqm fresh food market, the first of its kind in Australia.

A combination of fruit and vegetable display, butcher, bakery with commercial hoods, fish department with its own cool room and freezer, fresh juice bar, nut bar, deli and cheese bar. Each department is accentuated by a number of detailed suspended bulkheads and coloured mosaics. The entire shop is refrigerated by ten motors strategically positioned within the 4.8m ceiling space. A suspended roof slab contains the plant area, staff kitchen and amenities. The floor covering specified was 5mm epoxy with coloured sand and 60mm coving to perimeter walls.

Precast panel construction and trim deck roof sheeting houses this shopper’s paradise. A 500amp substation was constructed to power the development due to the extent of refrigeration, lighting and power supply required.
