In this changing Sydney neighbourhood the owners with their Architect have designed a striking home. It is a contemporary residence with a refined sense of style and great social amenity. The residence has bold proportions. This is a home that welcomes the visitor and holds their eye with interest, while drawing them into the unique personal environment.

A central spine within the residence is open from front to back over two floors. Featuring floor to ceiling glazing and velux sky lights. Open plan living and social flexibility is provided within the structured arrangement of visually interconnected spaces.

Extensive covered outdoor spaces on both levels are designed as  ‘open rooms’ that create a transition between indoor and outdoor living. A steelbond louvre system was installed to further enhance ‘openness’. These areas are protected with good access to the garden, swimming pool, spa and the harbour views.

Beneath floor level, we encountered rock when excavating and water. After addressing these challenges a state of the art theatre room and separate garage with storage areas were completed.
