With construction commencing just unter two months ago, the project is on schedule, and progressing well, with the former bowling green site now unrecongnisable as extensive excavation works have transformed the area in rediness for the construction phase of the operation.
The bulk of the excavation is now complete and next week we will be starting to lay filtration pipe and pool reinforcement.
We will also be commencing on services, water, gas, sewer and storm water and pouring the building slab. The weather has certainly been in our favour
Icon is utilising local contractors where feasible, it is important to support local businesses.
Mitchbrook Mason has been fantastic doing all the excavation work for us and our concrete contractor Darrell Buckley is also local. We are trying to keep local as much as possible in all facets of the project''''
