Thank you Icon Building Group so much for your generous sponsorship of the Sunsuper Ride to Conquer Cancer. We were absolutely thrilled and grateful to our sponsors who helped make the event such a success for the Chris O'Brien Life house at RPA.  

This event is officially the largest single fundraising event in Australia's history and managed to raise $5.7m. It was an amazing adventure for us with 1,623 riders and an army of support crew and  volunteers backing us up. 

Day 1 saw us head off from Homebush for a 100km ride to Camden after a 4:30 am start to the day. We camped over night and were up again at 4:30am to ride the remaining 100km back to Homebush. Apart from a few flat tyres and a little "chafe' we pulled up very well. There were 'pitstops' every 20-30km for food and drinks to keep us fuelled up. Camp was about tents, port-a-loos and portable showers-something we haven't done for a very long time.
